Meg and Rahul will be setting foot on US soil for the first time since January, and we've decided to throw ourselves a little welcome-home party (even though we're setting off again 10 days later). Sooooo . . .

MARK YOUR CALENDARS: ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 27TH, 2005, NEW YORK CITY WILL HOST THE MASSIVE-ASS KARAOKE RAGER YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR ALL YEAR.

We're in the process of choosing a Manhattan location that can contain our rampant absurdity and off-key crooning. But before we can make a decision, we need to know how many of you crazy caterwaulers are gonna be there. Anybody who's reading this is invited. That goes for friends, family, and people we've never met who've somehow stumbled upon our little blog. The only 2 requirements are that you come prepared to sing and you wear some kind of funny head-gear (hats, wigs, pets, food items . . .)
